This course covers (BLS Provider):
Adult, pediatric & infant CPR
Two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag-valve mask
Foreign-body airway obstruction (conscious and unconscious)
Automated external defibrillation (includes infant AED update)
Special resuscitation situations (Advanced airway, rescue breathing, Opioid life threatening overdoses, mouth-to-mouth)
Other cardiopulmonary emergencies
American Heart Association’s guidelines (2015 updated guidelines)
HeartCode BLS Skills/Test
Perform CPR and use an AED, relieve choking in adults and children, infant CPR and choking relief, including two-person scenarios, use of bag-mask systems, and foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO).

Health care providers who must have a credential documenting successful completion of a CPR course for medical professionals or a medical education program.

What are eCards?

Student manuals are provided during class. Course materials are not mailed prior to class. You can also order an ebook student manual from heart.org. No Wi-Fi available in classroom so review ebooks before class.
All classes must be prepaid. Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to class or a $15 fee will be deducted from refund, $5 will be deducted from ALL refunds. No penalty enforced for rescheduling 24 hours prior to class. A second reschedule will not be allowed and a $15 fee will be deducted from your refund. A no-show/no-call will result in full forfeiture of your class fee, no expections.
eCards will be ready to claim via email within 2 business days after class. A letter will be issued, if needed, for temporary proof of certification.
If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will be asked to reschedule.
The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
